What is Plagiarism?

Plagiarism is the act of using another person's text, ideas, or concepts and presenting that derived material as one's own original work. This includes copying any author's work—in whole or in part—without proper attribution and claiming it as one's own. Plagiarism constitutes academic dishonesty and can also amount to copyright infringement. No credible publisher should publish plagiarized articles.

Our Commitment to Original Research

AI Publications hosts peer-reviewed journals across nearly every academic field and maintains a strict, zero-tolerance plagiarism policy. We do not publish any article that reproduces content from a previously published work without proper citation and clearly limited quoted material.

Plagiarism is not always intentional. Authors are responsible for understanding the difference between quoting and paraphrasing, and for following correct citation and referencing practices when using or building on another author's material.

AI-Powered Plagiarism Detection

To uphold the highest standards of publishing integrity, every submitted manuscript is screened using advanced AI-powered plagiarism detection software before it is forwarded to our peer reviewers. This automated, AI-driven similarity check allows us to accurately identify copied content, improperly paraphrased text, and unattributed sources—ensuring only original, ethically sound research moves forward in our review process.

Plagiarism Screening Before Publication

Upon receiving a manuscript, we run an initial AI-based plagiarism check and handle the result as follows:

• Plagiarism below 15%: The paper will be activated, and the article proceeds to further editorial processing.
• Plagiarism between 15–30%: The paper ID will not be activated. The manuscript is returned to the author for revision and resubmission.
• Plagiarism above 30%: The article is rejected outright. The author is advised to fully revise the manuscript before resubmitting it as a new submission.

Plagiarism After Publication

If plagiarism is identified in an article after publication, our editorial team verifies the copied content, and the article may be formally retracted in accordance with standard academic retraction procedures.

AI Publications strongly recommends that authors run their own plagiarism check using a reliable AI- or software-based tool prior to submission. Authors must also avoid submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously, as duplicate submission is considered a serious ethical violation.

Plagiarism by Another Publisher

If we discover that one of our published papers has been copied—by an author from the same or a different publisher—without proper citation, we will report the matter to the editor of that publisher with full supporting details. The case will then be handled and resolved at the editor level.
